When using UpToDate Lexidrug from a regular browser, no account is required. However, when using the mobile app, and account is. Below are the steps to create and activate an account for app use.

1. Go to https://www.lexi.com/account
2. Be sure to click the ‘Create Account’ link in the sign-in box, not the ‘Login/Create Account’ link in the top menu:
3. Fill in all the fields for ‘Account Details’.
4. Be sure to use a .mil email for ‘Create Your Login’ section.
5. Enter authorization code. This is found in the Mobile App section on the main Lexidrug page. A handout is available upon request.
6. Once the authorization code is verified, a pin will be emailed to the user (may go to junk folder). 
7. Enter the pin, and your account is verified. Use the login created to login to the app.
